NOV APL in Arendal is seeking a Senior Engineer – Marine Analysis to strengthen our engineering team. You will perform design and analysis of mooring, riser, cable and umbilical systems for floating offshore installations.

You'll work with structural, mechanical and installation engineers through the full project lifecycle—from early client discussions to offshore installation. This role offers growth in hydrodynamics and marine analysis within a global leader.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Hydrodynamics, Naval Architecture, Marine Structures or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience in offshore engineering or marine analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform marine analysis and design of mooring and riser systems.
• Analyse vessel motions, hydrostatic stability and hydrodynamic behaviour.
• Support concept studies, FEED, detailed engineering and project execution.
• Contribute to offshore loading and CO2 injection system design.
• Develop and improve internal analysis tools and engineering methods.
• Collaborate with clients, suppliers and classification societies.
