Job summary

Nexans is seeking a Senior or Specialist Engineer to join the Marine Installation Engineering group, within the Cable Laying department. You will work on leading multidiscipline projects, focusing on marine and nearshore installation activities, with a strong emphasis on delivering technical excellence and coordinating with a specialized team.

The role requires a background in project-driven environments, offshore experience is a plus, and fluent English.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in project-driven engineering roles.
Experience from offshore installation or subsea operations is a plus.
Experience with nearshore/shallow water installation.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Lead multidisciplinary projects such as Project Engineer or Marine Engineering Lead.
Direct core operations with marine and nearshore installation activities.
Deliver technical documentation, procedures, analyses, and specs.
Plan and schedule marine and nearshore operations with internal/external teams.
Interface with clients and manage technical communications as needed.
Drive development of specialized technical solutions across the department.
Bridge office design to site follow-up, offshore and nearshore.
Champion safety and quality through HSE initiatives.
