Job summary

KONGSBERG Discovery in Trondheim, Norway, seeks a Senior Sales Manager for its Inertial product portfolio. You will manage customer accounts, develop new business and close deals across maritime and other sectors, leveraging deep knowledge of inertial navigation systems.

You will represent the company at industry events, prepare quotations, negotiate contracts and travel internationally to meet forecasted sales targets.

Qualifications

• Technical education or proven technical knowledge in relevant fields.
• Ideally 3 to 5+ years of operational experience in relevant industry.
• Experience and proven success in solution-based sales and negotiations.
• Ability to obtain security clearance if required.

Responsibilities

• Sales of current KONGSBERG Inertial systems and new developments within IMU, AHRS and INS product lines.
• Represent KONGSBERG at industry conferences and exhibitions.
• Meetings and follow-up with customers and integrators.
• Prepare quotations and engage in contract negotiations.
• Achieving forecasted sales targets for defined areas.
• International travel will be required.
