Job summary

KONGSBERG Discovery in Norway seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead autonomous maritime systems projects from concept to sea trials and delivery. You will manage multidisciplinary teams across systems engineering, mechanics, electronics, software, testing and integration, guiding projects through all lifecycle stages.

You will drive quality, schedule, risk management and stakeholder relations, while communicating clearly with customers and partners in English and Norwegian.

Qualifications

• Led complex technology development projects involving multiple engineering disciplines and stakeholders.
• Structured, goal-oriented and able to deliver results through others.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in both Norwegian and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery and development projects within autonomous maritime systems, both above and below the surface.
• Create the conditions for teams to succeed, enjoy their work, and continuously improve together.
• Ensure project objectives related to quality, schedule, risk management, and financial performance are achieved.
• Manage customer and stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate and motivate multidisciplinary teams of highly qualified professionals.
• Ensure a structured transition from concept and design through testing, verification, and delivery.
