Job summary

Ramboll Group in Oslo seeks an Advisor/Senior Advisor in EHS and Compliance to help clients implement and follow up on environmental, occupational health and safety requirements. You will lead audits and regulatory assessments across industrial sectors, identifying gaps and translating findings into practical improvements.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, develop Ramboll’s EHS management systems, and collaborate across Ramboll’s international network to support global deliveries.

Qualifications

• Relevant higher education in HSE, environmental studies, occupational health and safety, engineering, natural sciences or a similar field
• At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in EHS, HSE, compliance, auditing or management systems
• Experience from industrial operations or assignments for industrial clients is desirable
• Practical experience with implementing regulatory requirements, particularly requirements related to the handling and storage of chemicals, is an advantage
• Good knowledge of relevant Norwegian legislation, with knowledge of EU legislation considered an advantage
• Experience with standards such as ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 is desirable
• Experience in conducting audits, reviews or assessments and communicating findings clearly and constructively
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Norwegian and English

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS compliance audits and regulatory assessments for a variety of clients and industries
• Identify compliance gaps, operational risks and opportunities for improvement, and translate findings into practical solutions
• Assess how regulatory requirements are implemented in day-to-day operations, including the handling and storage of chemicals
• Support the development and improvement of EHS management systems, risk assessments and compliance programmes
• Deliver strategic advisory services on EHS compliance, risk management and organisational performance
• Prepare audit reports, descriptions of non-conformities and specific recommendations for improvement
• Contribute to tenders, client development and the continued development of Ramboll’s EHS and Compliance services
• Collaborate with colleagues across Ramboll’s global professional network
