Job summary

Ramboll in Norway seeks an Advisor/Senior Advisor in EHS and Compliance to help organisations implement environmental, health and safety practices. You will conduct audits, identify compliance gaps and translate complex regulations into practical improvements for industrial clients.

You’ll work across sectors such as manufacturing, data centres, chemicals and energy, collaborating with Ramboll’s international network and contributing to ongoing development of EHS services.

Qualifications

• Higher education in HSE, environmental studies, engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in EHS, HSE, compliance, auditing or management systems.
• Strong knowledge of Norwegian legislation; EU legislation is an advantage.
• Experience with audits and regulatory assessments; reporting findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS compliance audits and regulatory assessments for a variety of clients and industries.
• Identify compliance gaps, operational risks and opportunities for improvement, and translate findings into practical solutions.
• Assess how regulatory requirements are implemented in day-to-day operations, including handling and storage of chemicals.
• Support the development and improvement of EHS management systems, risk assessments and compliance programmes.
• Deliver strategic advisory services on EHS compliance, risk management and organisational performance.
• Prepare audit reports, descriptions of non-conformities and specific recommendations for improvement.
• Contribute to tenders, client development and the continued development of Ramboll’s EHS and Compliance services.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Ramboll’s global professional network.
