Job summary

MDE Group is seeking a seasoned Document Controller for a permanent or project-based assignment in Stavanger (Forus). You will manage project documents, ensure standards, and coordinate across disciplines using client electronic systems.

The role requires 10–12 years of offshore/onshore project experience, strong communication, and a systematic, deadline-driven approach to deliver high-quality reports within a multicultural environment. Duration: 17/09/2026-31/12/2027.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years of experience with offshore or onshore projects.
• Knowledge of relevant standards, procedures and requirements.
• Knowledge of modifications to offshore or onshore installations in operation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Systematic and accurate approach, with a strong commitment to deadlines and quality requirements.
• Solution-oriented, collaborative approach in a multicultural environment.
• Candidates may be asked about affiliations with high-risk countries for a security assessment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure work is carried out in accordance with department plans and procedures.
• Manage documents for an individual project or contract.
• Ensure colleagues understand document control routines and tasks across disciplines.
• Manage all incoming and outgoing deliveries handled by document control.
• Establish an electronic archive in the internal document control tool.
• Work with the client’s electronic document systems.
• Handle engineering and supplier documentation.
• Prepare internal and external reports on technical documentation.
• Work location: Forus, Stavanger.
• Planned assignment period: 17 September 2026–31 December 2027.
• Workload: 100%, five-day working week.
