Job summary

CTS Group is seeking a Lead Document Controller to join the London team and oversee document control for major data centre projects across the UK and wider EMEA. The role reports to Project Controls and requires managing governance, systems, and auditable project information.

You will mentor junior staff, coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors, and drive process improvements to meet ISO and CTS standards. English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in document control within construction, engineering, infrastructure, or data centre projects.
• Experience leading document control activities on large-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of lifecycle documentation and information management principles.
• Excellent understanding of document numbering, revision control, transmittals, workflows, and audit requirements.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Fluent written and spoken English; ability to train and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage document control activities across multiple data centre projects.
• Develop, implement, and maintain document control procedures, standards, and best practices.
• Act as the primary contact for document management and information governance.
• Mentor and support Document Controllers and project administration teams.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance data quality and control efficiency.
