Job summary

Thor is seeking a Senior Document Controller for a major data centre project in Glomfjord, Norway. The role reports to project controls and requires strong document control experience within construction and mission-critical environments.

Responsibilities include handling drawings, submittals, RFIs and project records, coordinating across project teams, and maintaining precise documentation. The position offers a 3 weeks on / 1 week off rotation and client-covered travel.

Senior Document Controller – Data Centre | Glomfjord, Norway

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Document Controller / Document Controller to support a major data centre project in Glomfjord, Norway.

Location: Glomfjord, Norway

Rotation: 3 weeks on / 1 week off

Sector: Data Centres / Mission Critical

Duration: 12-Month Initial Contract (open to extension)

Key Requirements:

• Previous data centre experience is highly desirable
• Strong document control experience within construction / mission-critical projects
• Experience with Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and/or CxAlloy
• Confident managing drawings, technical documentation, submittals, RFIs and project records
• Strong organisation and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
• Comfortable working in a client-facing environment
• Able to coordinate effectively across project, engineering, construction and commissioning teams
• Proactive and capable of working independently in a fast-paced project environment
