Job summary

CTS Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Lead to take overall responsibility for the safe and successful delivery of the electrical scope on a major data centre project. The role covers design coordination, procurement, construction, energisation, commissioning and handover within a global project team.

The successful candidate will lead the electrical organisation, manage safety, quality, programme and cost, and coordinate with Design, Procurement, Construction, QA/QC, HSE and Client

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical trade qualification or degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience delivering electrical systems on major construction projects.
• At least 5 years in Electrical Lead, Electrical Manager or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of HV/MV/LV distribution, transformers, generators, UPS, switchgear, earthing and protection.
• Experience managing electrical subcontractors, interfaces and client-supplied equipment.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the electrical package across the project lifecycle.
• Lead electrical management, engineering, supervision and subcontractor teams.
• Coordinate electrical design development with Design Manager and consultants.
• Manage procurement, delivery and installation readiness for electrical systems.
• Lead construction planning, sequencing, and interfaces with other disciplines.
• Oversee electrical testing, energisation, commissioning and handover.
