Job summary

Mercury is the European leader in construction solutions. The Design Manager will control design scope, programme and budget for large projects, coordinating designers, consultants and subcontractors to deliver on schedule.

You will drive design delivery, manage changes, liaise with BIM and document controllers, and report progress using MIDP/Power BI. A bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial engineering and 5–7 years' experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Electrical or mechanical engineering background preferred with related degree.
• 5–7 years of experience in large projects like data centres or pharma.
• Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage design costs.
• Experience leading teams in a BIM environment and knowledge of permits.

Responsibilities

• Controls design scope, programme and budget as design project manager.
• Leads design delivery with consultants and subcontractors and tracks changes.
• Manages design documentation, MIDP/Power BI reporting and progress.
• Chairs design meetings and ensures timely delivery of design deliverables.
