Job summary

Capstone Property Recruitment is seeking a Design Manager for data centre projects in Norway. You will lead the end-to-end design process, manage multidisciplinary coordination and drive design delivery from post-concept to construction, ensuring alignment with programme and contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
• 5–8 years of design management or multidisciplinary coordination experience.
• Experience on large-scale, technically complex construction projects.
• Strong multidisciplinary coordination across architects, engineers, consultants and authorities.
• BIM and digital design capability with Revit and clash detection experience.
• Design programmes, RFIs, change control, trackers and schedules management.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design process from post-concept through detailed design, construction and integration.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design coordination for architectural, structural, MEP and specialist packages.
• Lead and manage the design team with resource planning and mentoring.
• Engage external stakeholders and consultants, including authorities and design services procurement.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, standards and project specs.
• Own BIM and design coordination processes, including Revit reviews and clash resolution.
• Control design programme and information flow with trackers and change control.
• Support construction delivery with coordinated and timely design information.
