Job summary

Mavenir is seeking a Senior Technical Support Engineer in Oslo to deliver focused technical expertise for a single customer across EMEA, interfacing with internal teams and customer staff. The role requires fast learning, strong communication, and the ability to work under pressure to meet customer needs.

The engineer will build strong R&D relationships, troubleshoot software issues, and provide knowledge transfer while ensuring successful delivery and quality across Mavenir deployments.

Qualifications

• Solid experience with Linux; Redhat, VMware or AWS platforms.
• Linux system administration skills.
• Proven coding experience.
• Experience installing, upgrading and configuring computer hardware and software.
• Knowledge of mobile networks and SIP protocol.
• Understanding of software engineering principles.
• Experience with IP networks and Cisco routers.
• Experience of site visits to replace hardware components.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers, diagnosing software issues under SLAs.
• Collaborate with R&D to resolve problems and document fixes.
• Assist internal teams and delivery staff across EMEA.
• Produce system documentation for customers and support teams.
• Update call tracking and report status to customers.
