Job summary

Vantive is seeking an experienced Medical Field Service Engineer to join our Oslo team on a fixed-term contract through December 2027.

You will service and maintain critical medical devices, provide customer support, and collaborate with QA/QC and R&D to resolve issues while ensuring compliance with SOPs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience gained as a field service engineer in a medical environment is essential.
• Ability to use a wide variety of tools and test instruments
• Good written and verbal communication skills, both Norwegian and English
• Basic computer skills in Word, Outlook, Excel
• Proven troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance of critical medical devices on a regular basis.
• Repair, install, upgrade, maintain and decontaminate medical devices distributed by Vantive.
• Ensure all activities are performed following the available instructions and information, within the quality system framework. (SOPs)
• Provide guidance and training to customer personnel in establishing operation, maintenance, inspection procedures, and techniques.
• Report all relevant service activity, to ensure updated and accurate service data in the service system.
• Plan and organize day-to-day activities on the field.
• Responsible for controlling own car stock.
• Responsible to control own ESD.
• Attending required training and meetings.
• Provide customer telephone support.

We are currently seeking an experienced Medical Field Service Engineer to join the team in Oslo on a fixed term contract until December 2027.

Responsible for providing technical direction and support to customers on operation and maintenance of company products. Serve as customer contact on technical and service-related problems. Demonstrate uses and advantages of products. Work closely with sales and marketing, QA/QC and research and development to address customer concerns, determine corrective action and customer follow-up.
