Job summary

Head Energy is seeking a Senior Planner to manage planning, resources and costs for engineering scope on EPC projects. The role requires strong scheduling skills, risk analysis, and proactive optimization of the project timeline.

Candidates should have 3+ years in project planning, experience with Safran Project, and strong English communication. The position emphasizes deadlines, quality, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Master or Bachelor in technical or commercial topics. Relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal qualifications.
• Minimum 3 years work experience within project planning from EPC projects.
• Experience from engineering planning.
• Experience with Safran Project.
• Experience with client methods.
• Excellent skills within Safran Project; Primavera considered.

Responsibilities

• Schedule planning, resource planning and cost control for the engineering scope.
• Establish and maintain Level 4 (and Level 5) for the engineering scope.
• Lead project progress reviews and validate progress.
• Highlight the critical path and risks linked to the project schedule; propose mitigations.
• Follow up scheduling according to contract, regulations and client processes.
• Provide scheduling analysis to planning manager and PM for decisions.
• Communicate scheduling issues to planning manager for adjustments.
• Proactively search for opportunities to improve the schedule.
