Job summary

If Skadeforsikring in Oslo, Norway, seeks a Senior Developer to lead the evolution of Norwegian applications that support core systems. You will shape architecture, mentor a team of developers, and collaborate with the Product Owner, Tribe Architect, and IT Delivery Manager to ensure alignment with architectural principles.

You will drive modern engineering practices, including CI/CD, automated testing and monitoring, while enabling API-based integration between cloud platforms and legacy

Qualifications

• Solid experience with C#, .NET and Azure application development and maintenance.
• Familiarity with enterprise solutions, REST APIs, and message-based architecture.
• Good knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Bicep).
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with static code analysis tools like SonarQube and Snyk.
• Experience applying OWASP Top 10 in design and risk assessment.
• Experience with authentication/authorization solutions including OAuth2.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery within the Yggdrasil squad, ensuring stable and secure solutions.
• Translate business requirements into efficient technical solutions.
• Act as a bridge between business experts, technical developers in Norway and India, and architectural teams.
• Ensure coding standards, version control, security and documentation practices.
• Drive adoption of modern engineering practices including CI/CD, automated testing and monitoring.
• Drive modernization activities such as API enablement for cloud and mainframe integration and data replication using CDC.
• Ensure optimal usage and cost management of Azure resources.
