Job summary

If Skadeforsikring, filial af If Skadeförsäkring AB is seeking a Solution Architect to guide Local Core Norway's architecture across mainframe and modern environments. You will translate business needs into scalable, maintainable designs and collaborate with business and engineering teams to drive modernization while balancing delivery and long-term strategy.

You will work within IT Claims & Frontline Architecture, contributing to a Nordic architecture community and supporting both today’s

Qualifications

Proven ability to design solution architectures in complex enterprise environments.
Translate business needs into sustainable and practical designs.
Strong understanding of distributed systems, integrations, APIs and event-driven architecture.
Experience guiding agile product teams and making architecture decisions in iterative delivery environments.
Professional working proficiency in English; Norwegian is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain a deep understanding of the Local Core Norway application landscape.
Translate business needs into architectural designs and high-level designs.
Guide agile product teams in architectural decision-making.
Ensure alignment with If's enterprise architecture principles and reduce technical debt.
Collaborate with business, engineering, and architecture communities.
