Job summary

Functional Software Stockholm AB seeks a senior developer to design, research, and develop new applications and major enhancements to existing ones. You will guide developers, testers, and support staff, and may lead multiple teams with Technical Excellence Leadership.

The role requires leading software development projects, guiding security standards, and contributing to product planning for a complete software system. Oslo on-site with some remote opportunities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software development experience with F#.
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong background in functional programming principles and patterns.
• Experience building scalable, distributed, or data-intensive applications.
• Proven track record of developing production-grade software with high quality and reliability.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, Service Bus, AKS).
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD practices and cloud-native development.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain core services and libraries in F#.
• Contribute to the architecture and scalability of our cloud-based platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features from concept to production.
• Ensure high standards of code quality through testing, code reviews, and best practices.
• Mentor other engineers and foster adoption of functional programming patterns.
• Deploy, monitor, and optimize workloads on Azure.
