Job summary

If in Oslo, Norway, If is seeking a Senior Developer to lead the evolution of Norwegian applications supporting core systems. You will mentor developers, collaborate with Product Owner and Tribe Architect, and drive modernization while ensuring secure, scalable solutions.

You will work with Azure, CI/CD, and API-enabled integrations across cloud and mainframe landscapes, shaping future value delivery for customers.

Qualifications

• Solid experience with C#, .NET and Azure application development and maintenance.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and message-based architecture.
• Good knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Bicep).
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with static code and security analysis tools (SonarQube, Snyk).
• Experience applying OWASP Top 10 in design, development and risk assessment.
• Experience with authentication/authorization solutions (OAuth2, Curity, Identity Providers).
• Nice to have: Agile practices, Python, Databricks, IBM z Mainframe integration, monitoring/observability tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery within the Yggdrasil squad, ensuring design, development, and maintenance of stable and secure solutions.
• Translate business requirements into efficient technical solutions.
• Bridge between business experts, developers in Norway and India, and architecture teams.
• Ensure coding standards, version control, security and documentation practices.
• Drive modern engineering practices, including CI/CD, automated testing and monitoring.
• Drive API enablement for cloud-mainframe integration and CDC data replication.
• Manage Azure resource usage and costs.
