Imenco Group is seeking a Senior Buyer / Procurement Specialist to strengthen our Supply Chain Management team in Rogaland. You will drive strategic sourcing, manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee end-to-end procurement for projects, production, and operations.

Key responsibilities include developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier performance, and ensuring compliance with quality and contractual requirements.

Formación

• Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field is required or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain management.
• Experience with supplier relationship management and contract negotiations.
• Proficiency in ERP and procurement systems.
• Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.

At Imenco Group, we are looking for an experienced and commercially focused Senior Buyer / Procurement Specialist to strengthen our Supply Chain Management team. In this role, you will be responsible for strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiations, and end-to-end procurement activities supporting projects, production, and operations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management

Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business and project needs.

Identify, qualify, and manage suppliers to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and delivery performance.

Lead supplier negotiations and manage contracts and framework agreements.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.

Procurement Execution

Manage the procurement process from requisition to purchase order and delivery.

Collaborate with project, engineering, and operational teams to secure timely procurement support.

Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and procurement progress.

Proactively resolve supply chain risks and challenges.

Quality, Compliance & Improvement

Ensure purchased goods and services meet technical, quality, and contractual requirements.

Support supplier audits, compliance activities, and risk management initiatives.

Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes and supply chain performance.

Mentor and support junior procurement colleagues when required.

Qualifications

Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field. Relevant experience may compensate for formal education.

Minimum 5-7 yrs of experience in procurement, sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain management.

Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.

Experience with supplier relationship management and contract negotiations.

Experience from project-based, engineering, manufacturing, energy, or offshore industries is an advantage.

Proficiency in ERP and procurement systems.

Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
