Job summary

Enode in Oslo is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to help build the software layer that makes home energy devices work as one system. You will own backend integrations, design scalable APIs, and push AI-driven improvements across the platform.

You will collaborate with PMs, engineers, and commercial teams across Europe, shipping production features in Node/TypeScript on an AWS stack, balancing speed, quality, and customer impact.

Qualifications

• Strong backend experience in production APIs or integration-heavy systems.
• Fluency with AI and ability to apply it to workflows.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and communicate clearly across engineering, product and commercial teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain integrations with OEM cloud platforms across batteries, solar, meters, and HVAC.
• Design and evolve home energy APIs, unifying telemetry and controls for the HEM stack.
• Incorporate AI as a normal part of the workflow and share learnings broadly.
