Job summary

Enode is seeking a Mid Level Backend Engineer to make the EV platform more reliable, observable, and efficient. You will focus on the Platform Connect team, improving the connectivity layer that aggregates integrations with EV chargers, vehicles, and OEM platforms into a cohesive product.

You’ll work on new integrations and platform improvements, fix bugs, build automations, enhance monitoring, and help scale the API to support more OEMs and partners. Remote-friendly, with a Europe-wide reach.

Qualifications

• Experience writing maintainable, testable backend code, especially with API/integration work.
• Interest in platform engineering and building the connectivity layer that powers integrations.
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript and comfortable with distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain API integrations with OEMs and energy partners, ensuring reliability and tests.
• Improve connectivity platform by reducing incidents and strengthening observability.
• Develop automations and internal tools to monitor, triage, and test integrations.
• Define SLAs, monitoring, and alerting practices to improve reliability and reduce manual work.
• Align platform priorities with product needs through discussions with stakeholders.
• Foster a collaborative culture and share knowledge across Enode.
