Job summary

Enode is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the software layer that connects EVs, chargers, solar, and batteries, enabling optimized energy across homes and grids. You will redesign for speed, reliability, and broader coverage, evolving from device-level control to home-wide optimization.

You will drive AI adoption, shape strategy with the CTO, and hire and coach a high-performing, distributed team across Europe.

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing engineers.
• Experience leading remote or distributed teams.
• Track record of delivering AI-enabled products.

Responsibilities

• Own the team's technical vision end to end and partner with product to define an ambitious roadmap.
• Define what great looks like and drive high performance across the team.
• Collaborate with CTO to shape strategy, bets, and the roadmap for a new business area.
• Lead AI adoption and translate it into actionable, real-world outcomes.
• Hire, coach and grow team members to reach their potential, with clear expectations.
• Build trusting relationships across engineering, product, and leadership.
