U.S. Bank, including Elavon, seeks a Nordic Sales Onboarding Specialist to support onboarding quality, regulatory compliance, and reporting for customers and partners in the Nordic region.

You’ll collaborate with Sales, Onboarding, Compliance, Risk, and Pricing teams, manage multi-stakeholder communication, and help optimize processes across Norway, Sweden, and Denmark. This hybrid role requires strong AML/KYC knowledge and Norwegian language skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Identify onboarding quality improvements and reduce RTS cases through training and process changes.
  • Monitor onboarding pipelines and report bottlenecks and SLA risks.
  • Support onboarding of new products, processes, regulatory requirements in Nordic sales.
  • Act as SME for Nordic onboarding requirements, setups, and partner configurations.
  • Support Partner Relationship Managers with onboarding activities and partner setup.
  • Join customer and partner meetings as needed to provide SME input.
  • Pull and distribute regular and ad hoc reports to support sales growth and partner engagement.
  • Maintain knowledge of customer and partner-facing reporting tools, including Elavon Connect.
  • Create and deliver Nordic training materials.
  • Deliver onboarding and process training to Sales teams to improve submission quality.
  • Participate in local and global projects supporting sales initiatives.
  • Liaise between Sales, Onboarding, Compliance, Risk, Pricing, Marketing, and other stakeholders.
  • Communicate updates on AML, compliance, onboarding procedures, products, and processes.
  • Maintain Nordic Sales Support mailboxes and SharePoint site.
  • Perform Salesforce activities.

Job Description Key Responsibilities
  • Identify opportunities to improve onboarding quality and reduce Return to Sales (RTS) cases through training, reporting, and process enhancements.
  • Monitor onboarding pipelines and provide visibility of bottlenecks, SLA risks, and escalations.
  • Support implementation of new products, processes, and regulatory requirements impacting Nordic Sales.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Nordic-specific onboarding requirements, technical setups, and partner configurations.
  • Support Partner Relationship Managers with onboarding activities, partner setup, chain code and association code management, and customer readiness to batch.
  • Join customer and partner meetings when required and provide subject matter expertise.
  • Pull, analyze, and distribute regular and ad hoc reports to support sales growth, referral programs, and partner engagement.
  • Maintain knowledge of customer and partner-facing reporting tools, including Elavon Connect.
  • Create, customize, and deliver training materials tailored to Nordic business requirements.
  • Initiate, build and deliver onboarding- and process training to Sales teams to improve submission quality and reduce RTS cases.
  • Participate in local and global projects supporting sales initiatives and business improvements.
  • Act as a liaison between Sales, Onboarding, Compliance, Risk, Pricing, Marketing, Partner Operations, and other key stakeholders.
  • Communicate updates relating to AML, compliance, onboarding procedures, products, and operational processes.
  • Maintain the Nordic Sales Support mailboxes and coordinate task allocation and issue resolution.
  • Maintain the Nordic Sales SharePoint site and ensure documentation remains accurate and up to date.
  • Perform Salesforce activities.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of AML, KYC/CDD, and compliance requirements within the payments or financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of merchant acquiring, payment processing, card acceptance solutions, and onboarding processes.
  • Proficiency in Norwegian and English, with working knowledge of Swedish and Danish preferred.
  • Experience using Salesforce, Microsoft Office applications, Copilot, reporting tools, and collaboration platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify process improvements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently while collaborating across diverse teams.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Education & Experience
  • Professional experience within payments, financial services, sales support, onboarding, compliance, or customer operations.
  • 3+ years of experience in a payments, banking, fintech, sales support, onboarding, or operational support role.
  • Experience with AML/KYC/CDD processes and regulatory requirements within the financial services industry can be an advantage.
  • Experience working with CRM systems such as Salesforce and reporting tools.
  • Experience supporting multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, matrix, and cross-functional environment.

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.
