Job summary

BrightAnalytics, a fintech scale-up, is seeking an entrepreneurial Sales Manager to lead growth in Norway. You will coach a Norway team, drive performance, and partner with the Nordics Sales Manager to accelerate ramp-up and attainment of KPIs.

You hold a Master’s degree in business/economics, have 5+ years in sales, and fluency in Norwegian and English. You’ll work from the office to support colleagues and shape a high-performing culture at BrightAnalytics.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and coach the Norway sales team to adopt global processes.
  • Lead coaching with the Nordic Sales Manager to ramp up new members.
  • Monitor KPIs and drive improvements for team and individual performance.
  • Support retention, culture, HR tasks, and employee conversations.
  • Collaborate on sales operations, tools, and campaigns.
  • Oversee talent acquisition and alignment with company culture.

What are your responsibilities as a Sales Manager?
People development
  • Ensure that our global processes and best practices are being adopted in an efficient way

  • You are a supportive lead who coaches team members, accelerating their ramp up through focused guidance in cooperation with our Business Development coach and Nordics Sales Manager

  • Use our sales performance reporting and work side by side with our Nordics Sales Manager and your sales colleagues to spot performance gaps and turn them into growth opportunities

  • Drive team and individual performance by actively monitoring and refining progress against established KPIs.

Team retention
  • Motivate and inspire the Norway team to achieve and surpass their goals and reach an overall high level of performance

  • You support team engagement and contribute to a positive office culture

  • Lead and support employee conversations in line with the company strategy

  • Handle specific HR tasks, from time-off requests to day-to-day employee support in cooperation with HR team

  • You eliminate "micro-friction" in the workspace, ensuring that — form the office environment to administrative workflows—are seamless so the team can maintain 100% focus

  • You’re the go-to person for team events, creating memorable moments for the whole team to enjoy

Sales Operations
  • Contribute to the improvement of the overall business by suggesting improved ways of working (workflow, sales tools, Hubspot usage, etc.)

  • Cooperation with marketing in organizing lead generating activities & sales campaigns

  • Preparation, coordination, aftercare in the field of events, sales/marketing campaigns (events, webinars, trade fairs…)

Talent acquisition
  • First selection of candidates for internal roles is managed by our HQ team, you’ll take the lead on final steps to ensure your new colleague is completely aligned with our culture

What is your added value to the sales team?
  • You hold a Master’s Degree in business and/or economics

  • You have a successful track record of5+ years in a business/sales context or experience in a financial position with the desire to make the switch to an entrepreneurial sales/business challenge

  • Fluency in Norwegian is essential due to the platform’s complexity, and fluency in English is a must in our international environment

  • Being familiar with the local (business) culture is an asset

  • You have the ability to inspire people and let them be the best version of themselves

  • You prefer to work @ the office to support your colleagues in their daily tasks and challenges
