Job summary

Blue Moon Metals Inc. seeks a Quay & Fjord Construction Supervisor for the Nussir Copper Project in Kvalsund, Norway.

You will oversee marine infrastructure development, manage contractor activities, and ensure environmental compliance and safety in Arctic conditions. Responsibilities include supervising quay and docking facilities construction, subsea pipeline installation, and coordination with EPCM contractors.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years in heavy civil or marine infrastructure roles.
• Experience supervising contractors and marine EPCM teams.
• Familiarity with environmental compliance standards in Norway.
• Ability to lead safety briefings in Arctic conditions.
• Strong knowledge of Norwegian building codes (Norsk Standard).

Responsibilities

• Oversee the year-round, ice-free quay and docking facilities construction.
• Coordinate subsea pipeline installation and tailings management.
• Direct marine EPCM contractors, divers, dredging crews, and heavy marine operators.
• Enforce environmental monitoring and discharge permit compliance.
• Inspect quay components, ship loader interfaces, and conveyor upgrades for code compliance.
• Lead safety briefings and toolbox talks for marine operations in cold environments.
• Interface with contractors for below-ground conveyor and thickener scope of work.
• Lead emergency spill response planning and execution.
• Ensure marine regulatory security and vessel/crew security compliance.
