O’Connor’s Irish Pub Stavanger is seeking an experienced chef for an initial one-month, full-time assignment with a strong possibility of extension or moving into a permanent role. The kitchen team will require you to cook to the menu standards, manage your own station, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety.

English or Norwegian communication is acceptable, and the environment is busy and collaborative.

Qualifications

• Must have professional chef experience.
• Ability to work independently in a busy kitchen.
• Good communication in English or Norwegian.
• Willingness to commit to a full-time, approx. one-month assignment.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking dishes according to the restaurant’s menu and standards.
• Handling your own section during service.
• Mise en place and preparation before service.
• Maintaining structure, cleanliness and food-safety routines.
• Working efficiently during busy periods.
• Cooperating with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
