O’Connor’s Irish Pub Stavanger is seeking an experienced chef for a one-month full-time assignment in Stavanger. You will join a busy kitchen, prepare and cook dishes, maintain mise en place, and work closely with both kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver high-quality pub fare.

The position offers a lively central Stavanger workplace, with potential for extension to a permanent role for the right person. English or Norwegian language skills are welcomed.

Qualifications

• Professional chef with prior experience.
• Capable of working independently in a busy kitchen.
• Works quickly without sacrificing quality.
• Reliable, organised and takes responsibility.
• Positive attitude and team player.
• Fluent in English or Norwegian.
• Available for full-time approx. one month.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking dishes according to the restaurant’s menu and standards.
• Handling your own section during service.
• Mise en place and preparation before service.
• Maintaining good structure, cleanliness and food-safety routines.
• Working efficiently during busy periods.
• Cooperating closely with the rest of the kitchen and front-of-house team.
