Coalesce Management Consulting is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a green hydrogen facility project in Norway. You will be embedded in the owner's team, reporting to the Chief Project Officer, with execution ownership across dual packages and a critical EPC/EPCM interface.
The role focuses on schedule, quality, and cost, with immediate priorities to close RFQs for electrolyser and liquefier packages, run parallel contract structuring and supplier negotiations, and define interface ownership
A greenfield liquefied green hydrogen facility currently in active RFQ evaluation for both the electrolyser and liquefier packages, with offtake heads of terms running in parallel. Contracting structure is split: full EPC wrap on the electrolyser plant.
This is a greenfield industrial capital project at a pivotal execution stage. The decisions made in the next two to three months will define cost, schedule and risk exposure for the full build.
You will sit within the owner organisation, embedded in the project team and reporting to the Chief Project Officer. Your mandate is execution ownership — schedule, quality and cost across a dual-package structure where the interface boundary between the EPC and EPCM scopes is the single highest-value risk currently unresolved.
Immediate priorities on entry:
Procurement and contracts administration is covered separately. This role is delivery-focused — if your background is primarily contract administration rather than execution ownership, this is not the right fit.
Hydrogen experience is useful but not a prerequisite. What matters is proven delivery on complex, multi-contractor industrial capital projects at the right scale.
Norway, onsite. Candidates must be prepared to relocate or commit to regular onsite presence for the duration of the engagement.
Freelance contract. Day rate commensurate with senior owner-side PM experience on comparable capital programmes.
