This is an HSSEQ Manager with main focus on Quality.
Main requierments is expernece with industry/costruction onshore and worked in QA/QS positions with client interaction and EPC projects.
It's important with flexibility and ability to work in a dynamic position with high activity and several ongoing projects.
The Project HSSEQ Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating all Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality (HSSEQ) activities throughout the project lifecycle to ensure safe, compliant, and sustainable project delivery. The role provides strategic and operational HSSEQ leadership, promotes a strong safety culture, and ensures that project activities are executed in accordance with applicable legal requirements, company standards, client expectations, and industry best practices. The Project HSSEQ Manager works closely with project management, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to identify and manage risks, drive continuous improvement, prevent incidents, and deliver project objectives while safeguarding people, the environment, assets, reputation, and quality outcomes. The role shall provide practical and hands-on HSSEQ support throughout engineering, procurement, supplier fabrication, construction, installation, mechanical completion, commissioning and project handover activities.
The role is a mix between office-based work and site visits.
Site HSSE Coordinators and other project HSSEQ resources as assigned.
The role may also coordinate third-party inspection, surveillance and specialist HSSEQ resources where applicable.
Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific HSSEQ plans, procedures, and management systems aligned with company requirements, client expectations, and applicable regulations and contractual requirements.
Provide visible HSSEQ leadership and promote a proactive culture that prioritizes health, safety, security, environmental stewardship, and quality performance across all project activities.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, permits, standards, certifications, and contractual HSSEQ requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Lead the identification, assessment, and management of project risks and opportunities through effective hazard analysis, risk assessments, and mitigation measures.
Monitor HSSEQ performance through audits, inspections, observations, KPI reporting, and management reviews, ensuring timely corrective and preventive actions.
Advise project management and operational teams on HSSEQ matters and support decision-making to ensure risks are reduced to as low as reasonably practicable.
Lead incident reporting, investigation, root cause analysis, and lessons learned processes to prevent recurrence and drive continuous improvement in the project.
Manage emergency preparedness and response arrangements, ensuring adequate plans, training, and exercises are in place.
Ensure environmental impacts are identified, controlled, and minimized, supporting project sustainability objectives and regulatory compliance.
Support implementation of the Project Quality Plan and applicable project quality assurance and quality control requirements.
Coordinate HSSEQ and quality follow-up of suppliers, subcontractors and construction activities based on project criticality, contractual requirements and defined surveillance levels.
Review and follow up relevant supplier quality documentation, including Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), inspection and test records, NCRs and relevant manufacturing documentation.
Coordinate supplier surveillance and inspection activities, including inspection notifications and third-party inspection resources where applicable.
Coordinate HSSEQ training, competency development, and awareness programs for project personnel, contractors, and suppliers.
Manage contractor and supplier HSSEQ performance, including prequalification, monitoring, audits, and performance reviews.
Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, regulatory authorities, contractors, and other key stakeholders regarding HSSEQ matters.
Prepare and present HSSEQ reports, performance metrics, and improvement recommendations to project and senior management.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure lessons learned are captured and integrated into project execution and future business activities.
Support achievement of project objectives by balancing HSSEQ excellence with schedule, cost, quality, and operational requirements.
Support relevant regulatory and conformity-assessment activities in coordination with the responsible Engineering, Quality and certification functions.
Thorough knowledge of HSSE and Quality standards, such as ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001
Solid understanding of the drivers for HSSEQ performance and culture
Understanding of Project Management, including risk management
Well-versed with English as a working language
More than 5+ years of relevant experience from industrial projects or other relevant areas
Demonstrated experience from complex industrial projects involving supplier fabrication and/or construction activities.
Experience with quality assurance, surveillance, and control
LEAN experience and mindset are advantageous
Practical experience with both HSE and Quality-related responsibilities.
Experience with start-ups would be considered a plus
Higher education (college/university). Relevant work experience may supersede educational requirements.
