Falkor is inviting an experienced Process Engineer to join our Energy Simulation team in Fornebu or Horten. You’ll work with our dynamic process simulators, binding process know-how with software to model, understand and optimise complex industrial operations.

You’ll collaborate with customers, engineers and software specialists to deliver complete simulator solutions and provide technical ownership across major work packages. English and Norwegian or a Scandinavian language are beneficial.

Qualifikationen

• BSc/MSc in Process/Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with process engineering and dynamic simulation.
• Ability to work with customers and translate requirements into simulations.

Aufgaben

• Build, configure, validate and run dynamic process simulation models.
• Integrate dynamic models with industrial control systems.
• Prepare and deliver simulators for engineering testing, design verification, virtual commissioning and operator training.
• Work directly with customers and stakeholders to understand operations and challenges.
• Translate process requirements into effective simulation solutions.
• Provide technical guidance based on specialist knowledge of processing facilities.
• Take ownership of complete simulator deliveries or major work packages.
• Coordinate activities across process, control and software disciplines.
• Support reviews, testing, troubleshooting and customer acceptance.
