Job summary

Falkor is seeking a Graduate Process Engineer to join the Energy Simulation team in Fornebu or Horten. You will build and run dynamic process simulations and help integrate models with control systems while learning from experienced engineers.

You will contribute to engineering testing, operator training and virtual commissioning, developing specialist expertise in dynamic simulation and industrial software within a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• > Recently completed or soon-to-be-completed BSc or MSc in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Automation or another relevant technical discipline.
• > Structured and analytical approach to technical problems.
• > Curiosity and a genuine appetite to learn.
• > Interest in process simulation, industrial software or energy operations.
• > Collaboration and solution-oriented mindset.
• > Ability to communicate across technical disciplines.
• > Fluency in English and Norwegian or another Scandinavian language.
• > Willingness to travel to customer sites when required.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure and run dynamic process simulation models.
• Support the integration of dynamic models with control systems.
• Help prepare simulators for engineering testing, virtual commissioning and operator training.
• Work with experienced colleagues to understand customer processes and technical challenges.
• Apply your engineering knowledge to practical industrial problems.
• Test and document simulation models and technical solutions.
• Collaborate with process engineers, software specialists and other technical disciplines.
• Contribute ideas that improve our tools, products and ways of working.
• Build your technical knowledge and gradually take on greater responsibility.
