Job summary

Falkor is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join the Energy Simulation team in Fornebu or Horten. You will work with K-Spice and LedaFlow to model, understand and optimise complex industrial processes, and you will take ownership of simulator deliveries for engineering testing, virtual commissioning and operator training.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Process Engineering or related field.
• Professional experience in process engineering and industrial automation.
• Experience with dynamic simulation and customer-facing projects.
• Ability to structure and solve complex technical problems.
• Fluency in English and Norwegian or another Scandinavian language.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, validate and run dynamic process simulation models.
• Integrate dynamic models with industrial control systems.
• Prepare and deliver simulators for engineering testing and training.
• Work directly with customers to understand operations and challenges.
• Translate requirements into effective simulation solutions.
• Take ownership of simulator deliverables and major work packages.
• Coordinate activities across process, control and software disciplines.
• Support reviews, testing and customer acceptance.
