Job summary

Falkor is seeking a Graduate Process Engineer to join the Energy Simulation team in Fornebu or Horten, Norway. You will learn to build and run dynamic process models, and support integration with control systems while collaborating with experienced engineers.

You will work with dynamic simulators like K-Spice and LedaFlow to model complex industrial processes, support virtual commissioning and operator training, and contribute to delivering robust simulation solutions for energy and industrial

Qualifications

• Recent or soon-to-be completed degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Automation or related field.
• Interest in process simulation, industrial software or energy operations.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical approach.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure and run dynamic process simulation models.
• Support the integration of dynamic models with control systems.
• Prepare simulators for engineering testing, virtual commissioning and operator training.
• Collaborate with process engineers, software specialists and other technical disciplines.
• Apply engineering knowledge to practical industrial problems.
• Test and document simulation models and technical solutions.
• Contribute ideas that improve tools, products and ways of working.
• Build technical knowledge and gradually take on greater responsibility.
