Falkor is hiring an experienced Process Engineer to join the Energy Simulation team in Fornebu or Horten. You’ll work with dynamic simulators to model, understand and optimise complex industrial processes and integrate models with control systems.

You’ll deliver simulators for testing, verification and training, while collaborating closely with customers and stakeholders. The role offers ownership of major simulator deliveries and the opportunity to influence the development of simulation

Formación

• BSc or MSc in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Automation or related field.
• Experience in process engineering, process operations or industrial automation.
• Fluent in English and a Scandinavian language (Norwegian preferred).
• Willingness to travel to customer sites.

Responsabilidades

• Build, configure, validate and run dynamic process simulation models.
• Integrate dynamic models with industrial control systems.
• Prepare and deliver simulators for testing, verification, and training.
• Work directly with customers to understand operations and challenges.
• Translate requirements into effective simulation solutions.
• Provide technical advice based on processing facilities.
• Take ownership of complete simulator deliveries or major work packages.
• Coordinate activities across process, control and software disciplines.
• Support reviews, testing, troubleshooting and customer acceptance.
• Improve simulator-building processes and tooling.
• Contribute to development of simulation tech and products.
• Share knowledge and mentor less-experienced engineers.
