Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a Project Manager for Power Systems to lead multi-disciplinary teams across Norway, coordinating with clients and internal experts to deliver HV design and engineering solutions.

You will oversee planning, execution, and delivery of power systems projects, ensuring quality and client satisfaction, while mentoring junior engineers and fostering cross-border collaboration. Remote work options are available within Ramboll's flexible approach.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering, energy engineering, power systems engineering, or related field.
• Background from the Energy industry role, with strong, recent experience in a Project Management position.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills; ability to collaborate across countries and disciplines.
• Experience in client-facing roles, with a track record of building trust and delivering value.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; experience with project management tools.
• Proficiency in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMI) is an advantage, but not required.
• Commitment to mentoring, knowledge sharing, and supporting the professional growth of colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Leading multidisciplinary project teams, including both local and global experts, to deliver high-quality HV design and engineering solutions.
• Acting as a key client interface—ensuring clear scope understanding, safeguarding client interests, and building long-term partnerships.
• Overseeing tendering activities, contract negotiations, and stakeholder management.
• Coordinating with other business areas to ensure integrated, cost-effective, and reliable solutions.
• Managing technical and commercial aspects of projects in a dynamic environment, ensuring alignment with schedules and budgets.
• Mentoring and developing junior engineers, fostering collaboration and a positive work environment across borders.
• Supporting site and field activities, including follow-up and quality assurance.
