Job summary

Dovre Solutions is seeking a skilled Scheduling/Planning professional to manage schedule planning, resource planning and cost control for the engineering scope. You will establish Level 4/5 plans, lead progress reviews and challenge actual progress while highlighting critical paths and risks.

Ideal candidates have experience with Safran Project or Primavera, strong CPM and schedule-risk analysis skills, and the ability to coordinate with contract, estimation, risk and cost teams to align plans

• Highly competent in critical path analysis and schedule risk analysis.
• Scenario planning with mitigating actions to recover delay.
• Experience with contract, estimation, risk and cost resources to align plan and deliverables.

• Solid English communication, spoken and written.

Function

• Schedule planning, resource planning and cost control for the engineering scope. This requires proactively collecting information from various stkaholders in the project.


• Establish and maintain Level 4 (and Level 5?) for the engineering scope.


• Lead project progress reviews and validate & challenge actual progress.


• Highlighting the critical path and risks linked to the project schedule for the scope and propose the optimization & mitigation actions.


• Follow up the overall scheduling according to contract, authority regulations and company work processes.


• Provide planning manager and project management with scheduling analysis to ensure correct management decisions.


• Communicate all potential scheduling issues to planning manager to ensure needed adjustments, mitigations and improved performance.


• Proactively search for opportunities to improve the schedule and ensure materialization of these.

Required Education

• Master or Bachelor within technical or commercial topics. Relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal qualifications.

Required Work Experience

• Minimum 3 years work experience within project planning from EPC projects.


• Experience from engineering planning


• Experience with and working knowledge of Safran Project


• Experience with and knowledge of client method

Required Qualifications

• Excellent skills within the use of Safran Project. Candidates with excellent skills within Primavera will also be evaluated.


• Highly competent within critical path analysis, schedule risk analysis – monitor and follow up closely


• Scenario planning with the ability to suggest mitigating actions to recover project delay.


• Experience with working together with contract, estimation, risk and cost resources to ensure alignment between plan and their deliverables.
