Job summary

NTNU in Norway invites applications for a PhD research fellow position focusing on modelling and executing cascading cyber effects within the Norwegian Cyber Range. The project combines simulation, software development and experimental validation to advance cyber resilience in IT and OT environments.

You will develop methods for dependencies and cascading effects, design realistic scenarios, and validate the framework through experiments.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with significant project work in CS or cybersecurity.
• Excellent English writing and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and research abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop methods for modelling dependencies and cascading cyber effects in interconnected systems.
• Describe and execute realistic cascading cyber scenarios within a cyber range environment.
• Validate the modelling and execution framework through experiments in the Norwegian Cyber Range.
• Disseminate results through academic publications and conferences.
