NTNU invites applications for a PhD research fellow in cybersecurity, to work on cascading cyber effects and cyber resilience within the Norwegian Cyber Range. The role includes research, software development and experimental validation, under the Head of Discipline, at NTNU’s Department of Information Security and Communication Technology in Gjøvik.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or Cyber Security with a major independent project (min 30 ECTS)
• Average grade of B or better on NTNU's scale or documented equivalent
• Fluent English presentation skills (C1-C2)
• Admission to NTNU's Doctoral Programme during employment

Responsibilities

• Complete doctoral education and obtain a doctorate
• Carry out research of good quality within the described framework
• Publish academic works and disseminate knowledge
• Participate in the eHealth and System Security Group HS2G
• Engage in international activities such as conferences
• Fulfill teaching responsibilities and other career-enhancing duties
