Job summary

NTNU is inviting applications for a PhD research fellowship focused on cyber risk management in maritime operational systems. The project welcomes research in cyber risk assessment, human–machine interaction, cybersecurity training, and resilience, with collaboration across maritime stakeholders.

You will join a research environment at the intersection of cybersecurity, maritime operations, and human–technology interaction, developing interdisciplinary expertise and engaging with industry

Qualifications

• Master's degree requirement as described in the selection criteria.
• Excellent presentation skills in English language equivalent to level C1-C2.
• The candidate must be eligible for security clearance at CONFIDENTIAL or higher.

Responsibilities

• Complete doctoral education and obtain a doctorate.
• Carry out high-quality research within the project scope.
• Publish academic work and disseminate findings.
• Collaborate with maritime stakeholders and apply research to industrial cases.
• Participate in international conferences and research stays.
