Job summary

NTNU invites applications for a PhD research fellow to pursue doctoral studies while contributing to a cybersecurity-related project in maritime operations. Qualifications

• Master's degree in cybersecurity, information security, maritime studies, marine technology, risk or safety management, or related field with major independent project (min 30 ECTS).
• Strong academic background with average grade equal to B or better on NTNU scale or comparable evidence.
• Excellent presentation skills in English (C1-C2).
• Eligibility for security clearance at CONFIDENTIAL level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Complete doctoral education and obtain a doctorate.
• Carry out high-quality research within the project scope.
• Publish academic papers and engage in dissemination.
• Collaborate with maritime stakeholders and apply research to industry cases.
