Qualifications

  • Must have a relevant Master's degree in Computer Science with a major independent project (≥30 ECTS).
  • Strong academic background with average grade equal to B or better on NTNU scale or equivalent.
  • English proficiency: IELTS 7 or TOEFL >100.
  • First-author publication in ML/edge AI topics.
  • Hands-on experience with Nvidia Jetson or similar edge platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of deep learning, LLMs, or multimodal models.
  • Experience in deep learning optimization (pruning, quantization).
  • Strong academic writing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Complete the doctoral education until the doctorate is obtained.
  • Conduct high-quality research in efficient edge intelligence.
  • Publish academic papers and disseminate findings.
  • Participate in the research group (system software)
  • Attend international conferences and research stays.
  • Engage in career-promoting activities as assigned by the unit.
