Job summary

Vend is seeking a People Operations Specialist to shape the Nordic People Operations Hub from Oslo or Stockholm, with flexible work options.

You will support Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland, resolving operational needs and enabling AI-driven self-service to improve the employee experience.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in People Operations or HR administration
• Higher or vocational education in HR
• Hands-on experience with modern HR platforms and AI tools
• Data-driven approach to improvement
• Trustworthy with sensitive information
• Clear English; Norwegian/Swedish proficiency is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Resolve operational needs across Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland with data changes and lifecycle events
• Enable knowledge, self-service and AI; guide employees to digital services and self-service, identify gaps for automation
• Improve hub workflows with data, feedback and cross-functional collaboration on process improvements, automation and AI development

Are you ready to be a key player in our Nordic People Operations Hub? We are looking for a People Operations Specialist who enjoys solving problems and is curious about how AI and technology can create simpler, faster, and more intuitive experiences.

As part of our team, you will resolve operational needs across Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland. You will combine hands‑on delivery with opportunities to improve digital workflows, make trusted information easier to find, and enable effective self‑service. Working closely with People Business Partners, Specialists, and Product owners - using modern platforms and our AI front door - you will turn everyday insights into improvements that reduce effort and elevate the employee and manager experience.

Core Responsibilities

• Resolve Operational Needs: Resolve employee and manager inquiries across Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland - handling data changes and lifecycle events with high data integrity.
• Enable Knowledge, Self‑Service & AI: Guide employees and managers towards digital services, trusted information and self‑service. Work with accountable content owners to keep knowledge clear, usable and AI‑ready, identifying gaps and opportunities for automation.
• Improve How Services Work: Use cases, data and feedback to identify friction and improve Hub workflows. Collaborate with product owners and specialists on broader process improvements, and contribute to cross‑functional initiatives, automation and AI development.

What You Bring

• Relevant Experience: Approximately 2–4 years in People Operations or HR administration, ideally in a multi‑country or fast‑moving environment.
• Education: Higher or vocational education within HR or another relevant field.
• Digital Confidence: Hands‑on experience with modern HR platforms and confidence using AI tools, digital assistants and data to make work easier.
• Ownership & Judgement: You follow requests through, handle sensitive information carefully and recognise when to involve others.
• Problem‑Solving & Improvement: You use data and feedback to understand employee and manager needs, simplify workflows and create clear, useful guidance.
• Communication & Collaboration: You work well across teams and countries, communicate clearly and bring fluency in English, and it’s an advantage if you have working proficiency in Norwegian or Swedish.
