Vend is shaping the future of People Operations across the Nordics. We are looking for a People Operations Specialist who enjoys solving problems and is curious about how AI and technology can create simpler and faster experiences.

You will handle operational inquiries across Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland, partner with People Business Partners, and drive digital improvements and AI-enabled self-service. Flexible work options available with offices in Oslo or Stockholm.

Qualifications

• Approximately 2–4 years in People Operations or HR administration in a multi-country or fast-moving environment.
• Higher or vocational education within HR or another relevant field.
• Hands-on experience with modern HR platforms and confidence using AI tools, digital assistants and data to make work easier.
• Ownership & Judgement: follow requests through, handle sensitive information carefully and recognise when to involve others.
• Problem-Solving & Improvement: use data and feedback to understand needs, simplify workflows and create clear guidance.
• Communication & Collaboration: work well across teams and countries, with fluent English; Norwegian or Swedish is a plus.

Responsibilities

Are you ready to be a key player in our Nordic People Operations Hub? We are looking for a People Operations Specialist who enjoys solving problems and is curious about how AI and technology can create simpler, faster, and more intuitive experiences.

As part of our team, you will resolve operational needs across Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland. You will combine hands‑on delivery with opportunities to improve digital workflows, make trusted information easier to find, and enable effective self‑service. Working closely with People Business Partners, Specialists, and Product owners - using modern platforms and our AI front door - you will turn everyday insights into improvements that reduce effort and elevate the employee and manager experience.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Resolve Operational Needs: Resolve employee and manager inquiries across Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland - handling data changes and lifecycle events with high data integrity.
• Enable Knowledge, Self‑Service & AI: Guide employees and managers towards digital services, trusted information and self‑service. Work with accountable content owners to keep knowledge clear, usable and AI‑ready, identifying gaps and opportunities for automation.
• Improve How Services Work: Use cases, data and feedback to identify friction and improve Hub workflows. Collaborate with product owners and specialists on broader process improvements, and contribute to cross‑functional initiatives, automation and AI development.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Relevant Experience: Approximately 2–4 years in People Operations or HR administration, ideally in a multi‑country or fast‑moving environment.
• Education: Higher or vocational education within HR or another relevant field.
• Digital Confidence: Hands‑on experience with modern HR platforms and confidence using AI tools, digital assistants and data to make work easier.
• Ownership & Judgement: You follow requests through, handle sensitive information carefully and recognise when to involve others.
• Problem‑Solving & Improvement: You use data and feedback to understand employee and manager needs, simplify workflows and create clear, useful guidance.
• Communication & Collaboration: You work well across teams and countries, communicate clearly and bring fluency in English, and it’s an advantage if you have working proficiency in Norwegian or Swedish.
