Job summary

Lee County Government’s General Services department is seeking a part-time recycling technician to collect, separate, and stage recyclables and to fill in at the convenience centers and landfill scale house as needed. The position works up to 24 hours per week and reports directly to the Solid Waste Maintenance Specialist.

Candidates must have a valid North Carolina driver’s license and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Description Of Work

The Solid Waste division of Lee County Government’s General Services department is seeking qualified individuals to fill the position of part time recycling technician. Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, collecting, separating, and staging recyclables, and filling in at the convenience centers and landfill scale house as needed. Recycling technicians work up to 24 hours a week and report directly to the Solid Waste Maintenance Specialist.
