Job summary

Manta Technologies, an AI company based in Oslo, is seeking a Senior Business Controller to own the financial control function and support strategic decisions. You will be the analytical engine behind commercial and operational choices, close to leadership and shaping how the finance function scales.

In this hands-on role you will build processes, reporting and analytical frameworks, perform profitability and cost analyses, and develop forecasts to guide growth.

Qualifications

• Analyse customer and product profitability, price performance, market development and other key commercial drivers
• Perform cost controlling across purchasing, processing, sales and distribution

About the role

Manta Technologies is an AI company based in Tjuvholmen, Oslo, building an autonomous reasoning engine that connects to business systems and acts on commercial logic to drive growth. As Senior Business Controller, you will be the analytical engine behind our commercial and operational decisions — sitting close to leadership and playing a direct role in how the company scales.
This is a hands-on, high-ownership position. There is no large finance team behind you. You will build and maintain the processes, reporting, and analytical frameworks the business relies on.

Who you are

You are confident across the full cycle of commercial analysis, forecasting, and management reporting. You have a solid working knowledge of Norwegian accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and you are fluent in both Norwegian and English at a professional level.

Nice to have: You have worked in an early-stage or fast-growing company where you built financial processes rather than stepped into established ones. You are comfortable operating independently and taking full ownership of a function. You communicate financial findings clearly to people outside finance — including founders and engineers who think in systems, not spreadsheets.
