Manta Technologies is an AI company based in Oslo, building an autonomous reasoning engine that connects to business systems and drives growth. The role focuses on defining strategic initiatives, capital strategy and market entry, reporting directly to the Chief Strategy Officer.

You will help shape the growth trajectory of Manta and the Vergence portfolio, collaborating closely with founders, operators, and leadership.

• Produce high-quality presentations, investment memos and board papers for senior internal and external audiences.
• Structure and lead end-to-end strategic analyses: market sizing, competitive positioning, vertical entry cases, and land them on clear, defensible recommendations.
• Build rigorous financial models covering unit economics, vertical P&Ls, contract value, payback periods and scenario analysis.
• Drive initiatives through to implementation, not just to a filed recommendation.
• Support work across the Vergence portfolio, including due diligence and post-close integration on acquisitions and partnerships

About the role

Manta Technologies is an AI company based in Tjuvholmen, Oslo, building an autonomous reasoning engine that connects to business systems and acts on commercial logic to drive growth. The engine is industry-agnostic, but is built out vertical by vertical. We serve Enterprises across commerce, real estate, hospitality, capital and telecom in Europe, the GCC and the US.

This role sits at the centre of that growth. Reporting directly to the Chief Strategy Officer, you will help define and drive the strategic initiatives that determine where Manta goes next: new ventures, capital strategy, market entry, investor relations and more. Around 20% of your time will extend to other companies in the Vergence portfolio, the co-company builder Manta is part of. This is a high-ownership, high-visibility position in a fast-moving, early-stage environment.

What you'll do

Produce high-quality presentations, investment memos and board papers for senior internal and external audiences

Who you are

You bring at least four years of experience from top-tier management consulting, corporate strategy, VC, PE or M&A. You can build and defend a financial model under scrutiny, and you have a track record of producing materials that hold up in front of boards and investors. You have led strategic analyses from framing through to recommendation, and you follow through until the outcome is real.

You are highly self-directed, comfortable owning complex work with limited oversight in an environment where priorities shift and ambiguity is the norm.

Nice to have: Experience running commercial due diligence on acquisitions or partnerships, and supporting integration after close. Proficiency in Norwegian alongside fluent English.
