Job summary

Manta Technologies, an AI company based in Oslo, is seeking a Senior Business Controller to own the financial control function and support strategic decisions. You will be the analytical engine behind commercial and operational choices, close to leadership and shaping how the finance function scales.

In this hands-on role you will build processes, reporting and analytical frameworks, perform profitability and cost analyses, and develop forecasts to guide growth.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in business controlling, financial analysis, or a closely related finance role.
• Solid working knowledge of Norwegian accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Fluent in both Norwegian and English at a professional level.
• Experience building financial processes in an early-stage or fast-growing company is preferred.
• Genuine influence over how the finance function is built.
• Direct access to strategic decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Analyse customer and product profitability, price performance, market development and other key commercial drivers
• Perform cost controlling across purchasing, processing, sales and distribution
• Prepare and present management reporting, operational analysis and month-end reporting of KPIs and key business drivers
• Develop forecasts, scenarios and business cases to support commercial and operational decision-making
• Drive continuous improvement of reporting, financial processes, systems, data quality and internal controls
• Ensure compliance with Norwegian accounting standards and regulatory requirements
