Job summary

BD is seeking a Field Service Engineer in the Oslo area to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize advanced instrumentation for customers. This hands-on, customer-facing role requires technical expertise, problem-solving, and service excellence in a regulated, high‑volume environment.

You will provide field-based and remote support, perform preventive maintenance, installations, relocations, and IQ/OQ certifications, and manage spare parts while traveling across Norway and the Nordic

Qualifications

Engineering degree or proven field service experience.
Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance of complex systems.
Fluency in English and Norwegian is required.
Willingness to travel and adapt to diverse product ranges.

Responsibilities

Provide field-based and remote technical support to customers and colleagues.
Perform installation, maintenance, relocation, repairs and field change orders on COR instrumentation.
Diagnose electrical, fluidic, mechanical, hardware, and software issues using established procedures.
Determine efficient repair solutions to minimize downtime.
Carry out instrument certifications (IQ/OQ).
Manage spare parts and tools inventory for the service car.
Handle technical escalations and cover Norway with Nordic travel.
