Job summary

GE HealthCare seeks an experienced Automation & BMS/EMS Engineer to maintain, program, and optimize critical control systems in a regulated pharmaceutical environment in Norway. You will handle Siemens/Rockwell PLCs, Honeywell EBI, and validated monitoring platforms, ensuring strict data integrity and GxP compliance.

The role requires strong collaboration with QA teams and international stakeholders, and fluent Norwegian and English.

Qualifications

5-7 years of engineering experience in a validated pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device manufacturing plant.
Advanced knowledge of Siemens (TIA Portal/Step 7) and Rockwell Automation (Studio 5000/FactoryTalk).
Experience administering Honeywell EBI and managing validated Facility Monitoring Systems (FMS).
Understanding of GxP, GAMP5, and 21 CFR Part 11 regulations.

Responsibilities

Program, configure, and troubleshoot Siemens and Rockwell PLCs and HMIs on manufacturing equipment.
Operate, maintain, and configure Honeywell EBI and validated FMS for environmental control.
Ensure automation activities comply with data integrity, GxP, and regulatory requirements.
Authors, reviews, and executes IQ/OQ protocols for software, hardware, and FMS upgrades.
Collaborate with vendors, QA teams, and international stakeholders in Norwegian and English.
